The Tree Sap Tap can be used to obtain Sap.

Placement [ ]

The tap has to be fastened to a mature redwood tree (i.e. the ones with the deep bark) in the Redwood Forests. It must be installed below the awning, and fairly loftier up (at to the lowest degree 11 units above footing).

To reach the tap for harvesting, a survivor must either stand on a dismounted Quetz, a dismounted Bronto, a Tree Platform, a Griffin, a Wyvern, a ladder, mounted on some walls, or with the grappling hook.

Sap Gathering [ ]

Each tap will automatically collect upwardly to a maximum of 20 Sap over a long period (ex.four hours). Multiple taps may be fastened to a unmarried tree.

The tap will collect one Sap approximately every 10 minutes 20 seconds.

Y'all need to access the tap's inventory after information technology's been initially placed or the sap gathering will not begin.

Attaching Amargasaurus Spike to the tap will increment its productivity, both from speed and how much it can produce.

Notes [ ]

If taps must exist subconscious, choosing a tree whose trunk is obscured by younger saplings is required; this may be desired as the metal taps double every bit an unobtrusive land-claim mechanism.

If there are multiple taps on a single tree, each tap will collect sap at a charge per unit which is 1 / [# of Taps on tree] times the normal charge per unit.
